These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Gamezy, a community-powered video-game ranking app published by LoqzCorp (“Gamezy”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account, signing in, voting, commenting, or otherwise using Gamezy, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are and how to contact us

Gamezy is published by LoqzCorp. The app is distributed as com.loqzcorp.gamezy on supported mobile platforms. Questions, support requests, moderation concerns, or legal notices may be sent to loqzcorp@gmail.com.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country or region, to use Gamezy. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Gamezy only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. Gamezy is not directed to children under 13.

3. Accounts and sign-in

Gamezy requires an account because voting, vote limits, comments, likes, follows, reports, blocks, and profile stats are tied to a user identity. You may sign in with Apple, Google, or email/password where available.

• You are responsible for activity that happens through your account.
• You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in method secure.
• You may not create accounts to evade vote limits, moderation, reports, blocks, or enforcement actions.
• You may delete your account from the in-app Profile tab.

4. What Gamezy does

Gamezy lets users vote on head-to-head matchups between video games. Votes update Elo-style ratings for an overall leaderboard and category-specific leaderboards. The rankings are community-generated and should be treated as entertainment and opinion-based community data, not as professional reviews, purchase advice, or official rankings from game publishers or platform owners.

5. Voting rules and leaderboard integrity

To keep rankings useful and fair, each account may cast up to 100 votes per UTC day. You agree not to manipulate or interfere with voting, leaderboards, activity feeds, or profile stats.

• Do not use bots, scripts, emulators, automation, or coordinated abuse to inflate or suppress rankings.
• Do not exploit bugs, backend behavior, or network requests to bypass limits.
• Do not sell, trade, or transfer votes or accounts.
• We may remove, ignore, or correct activity that appears fraudulent, abusive, automated, or technically invalid.

6. User content

Gamezy may allow you to post comments, replies, likes, profile display names, and other account-visible activity (“User Content”). You keep any rights you have in your User Content, but you grant Gamezy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, moderate, and use that content as needed to operate, improve, protect, and promote the app.

You are solely responsible for the User Content you post. Do not post content that you do not have the right to share.

7. Community standards

Gamezy has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. There is no acceptable amount of harassment, hate, threats, sexually explicit or graphically violent material, or abusive behavior on Gamezy. Content or behavior that violates these standards may be removed, and the responsible account may be suspended or permanently removed, with or without notice.

Gamezy is for good-faith discussion about games. You agree not to post, submit, or encourage content or behavior that is:

• Harassing, bullying, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, or targeted at a person or protected group.
• Sexually explicit, pornographic, graphically violent, exploitative, or otherwise unsafe for a general audience.
• Spam, scams, phishing, malware, deceptive links, repetitive promotions, or unsolicited advertising.
• False, misleading, impersonating another person, or designed to manipulate the app or its users.
• Illegal, infringing, privacy-invasive, or encouraging self-harm, violence, or unlawful conduct.
• Designed to evade filters, blocks, reports, rate limits, or moderation decisions.

8. Moderation, reports, and blocks

We may use automated and manual moderation to protect Gamezy. Some unsafe or spam comments may be blocked before posting. Users can report comments, and comments that receive reports from at least three different users may be hidden behind a community-report notice. Users can also block other users, which filters comments and restricts profile visibility.

You can report objectionable content by using the report control on any comment, and you can block abusive users from their profile, which immediately hides their content from your feeds and notifies us. We aim to review reports of objectionable content and abusive behavior and act within 24 hours by removing the offending content and ejecting the user who provided it. You may also email loqzcorp@gmail.com to report content or users.

We may remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, delete accounts, preserve records for safety or legal reasons, or take other reasonable action if we believe these Terms, our community standards, law, or platform rules have been violated. We are not obligated to monitor all content, and we do not guarantee that every objectionable post will be detected immediately.

9. Prohibited technical activity

You may not interfere with Gamezy or its backend services. This includes attempts to:

• Reverse engineer, scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-export app data except where allowed by law.
• Probe, scan, overload, attack, or bypass security, authentication, rate limits, or access controls.
• Use unauthorized clients, modified apps, scripts, or direct API calls to submit activity.
• Upload malware or code intended to disrupt devices, services, users, or third-party systems.

10. Game catalog and third-party data

Gamezy’s game catalog is based on data from the public RAWG video-game database and may include game titles, release dates, developers, platforms, genres, artwork, and related metadata. Catalog information may be incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or inaccurate. Gamezy is not endorsed by RAWG, game publishers, developers, console manufacturers, or storefront operators unless expressly stated.

11. Intellectual property

Gamezy, including its name, logo, interface, software, design, rankings presentation, and original text, is owned by LoqzCorp or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from Gamezy except as permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

Game names, artwork, platform names, publisher names, and related marks belong to their respective owners. They are used for identification and ranking context.

12. Limited license to use the app

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Gamezy on devices you own or control for personal, non-commercial use. This license ends when you stop using the app, delete your account, or we terminate your access.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, what is public, what is private, and how account deletion works. By using Gamezy, you acknowledge that your data will be handled as described there.

14. Notifications

If you allow push notifications, Gamezy may send notifications related to app activity, such as replies, likes, follows, and new comments on games you discussed. Gamezy does not send marketing pushes. You can disable push notifications in your device settings at any time.

15. Account deletion and termination

You may delete your account from the Profile tab. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk for users or the service, infringed rights, or used Gamezy unlawfully. Some historical activity may remain in anonymized or aggregate form after deletion or termination so rankings, discussions, moderation records, and service integrity can remain coherent. The Privacy Policy describes this in more detail.

16. No purchases, prizes, or gambling

Gamezy does not currently sell subscriptions, in-app purchases, paid votes, prizes, contests, betting, gambling, or real-money rewards. Votes and rankings have no cash value and cannot be redeemed, transferred, or exchanged.

17. Changes and availability

We may change, add, remove, pause, or discontinue features, categories, rankings, limits, or backend services. We try to keep Gamezy reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent storage of content, or error-free operation.

18. Disclaimers

Gamezy is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability. We do not guarantee that rankings, catalog data, comments, or activity feeds will be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any particular decision.

19. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LoqzCorp will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of Gamezy. Our total liability for any claim relating to Gamezy will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us to use Gamezy in the 12 months before the claim or USD $50.

20. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LoqzCorp from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of Gamezy, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of someone else’s rights.

21. Apple App Store terms

If you downloaded Gamezy from Apple’s App Store, these Terms apply between you and LoqzCorp, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Gamezy or its content, maintenance, support, warranty, claims, or legal compliance. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you as related to your App Store use of Gamezy. Your use of Gamezy must also comply with the App Store Terms of Service and any applicable Apple usage rules.

22. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice in the app or on our site. Continued use of Gamezy after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
